This is now a work in progress - as millions of funds have been approved to restore this historic and important site. The reason I gave it four instead of five stars is because there just isn't much to see right now - and what you can see has to be viewed through a chain link fence. It's still worth a stop if you are in the Bisbee or Sierra Vista areas. Kudos to the people improving this site.

It's an amazing time travel - imagining the soldiers - many of the Buffalo Soldiers (Black servicemen) - right on the Mexican border.
