Cyanide Springs.. Where? January 2023, after good reviews found on Google Maps, we decide to drive a long way from Las Vegas to here to see how a ghost town looks like and we ended up with nothing. It was Sunday.. So no show. Market.. Closed. Souvenirs.. Closed. Jail.. Closed. We only got the post office open. Also the Cyanide Springs was severely more deteriorated rather than the Google Maps photos. I appreciate the big efforts from the community, but our experience remains negative.

Cute little reproduction town built by the town's historical society about 20 years ago. The town was created using materials reclaimed from the local mine, with a lot of attention to detail. We stopped by when volunteers were doing maintenance and met several of the town's folk who were extremely warm and welcoming. If you're fortunate enough to stop by when someone's there, they'll have all kinds of history to share.

We stopped by Cyanide Springs during our road trip and were pleasantly surprised. It’s a tiny Western-style ghost town in Chloride, Arizona — no crowds, no admission, and perfect for taking unique photos. The old saloon, mini jail, and other buildings really make you feel like you’re in an old Western movie. It was quiet when we went, almost like we had the whole place to ourselves. Definitely worth a quick stop!
