This trail was beautiful! It was super easy. You will get muddy though So if you don’t like that don’t do it. We took our three small dogs and they absolutely loved it but also were covered in mud after it was over. We always come prepared though with towels and baby wipes. The path is very narrow for a good portion of the trail so if you get claustrophobic that might not be for you but it’s very easy. There are some rocky and muddy places and can be slippery at times so wear proper boots. Besides all that it was absolutely gorgeous! The path stays right next to the little Colorado river creek and was running and flowing when we went near the end of August. We saw a few deer and plenty of beautiful birds. It was about 3 miles round trip to the man made dam and back. There were bathrooms at the beginning of the trail but they smelled so bad we opted not...

It is both gorgeous and very easy, you do have to watch your step though because there are lots of rocks and logs on the trail and it can be pretty muddy in some spots, even in the middle of summer (the logs and rocks did help us avoid those spots though!)
