There are NO water hook-ups in this park. We drove 2 hours to get here and just turned around and went home. There was not even a water faucet anywhere within walking distance to go wash hands! We were so upset that we didn’t even take a picture before we left. The site we reserved was beautiful and the lake was beautiful. There were no trash bins close by. To throw trash away you have to walk or drive to the trash dump area (only one) for the park. The gate attendant was very nice and friendly. No map of the campground was given to us upon entering the park. I just cannot camp without water. With Covid still going around seems like they would offer each campsite the pleasure of water!!! In the future when we go to a park we’ve never been to I will call and see what hook-ups are offered before making reservations! My fault for assuming that since it was listed as an electric site that it would have the very basics of WATER! Our site was D 16. Very shady and thick trees. No room for slide-outs. Hard to back into this site because of the location of the trees in comparison to where the RV has to fit it. Good thing my husband can back into any site with no trouble. This site is not for...

Check in is at 5 pm! That was surprised if to me so I thought I’d lead with that. Didn’t mind it, but wasn’t expecting it. Check out is 4 pm next day.

The campsite is large! It comes with 2 pads 2 tables, and two spaces to park. Ours was by the water which was nice. I recommend using the mail to figure out which one you would prefer.

We visited on a Thursday and was fairly surprised with how many people were there. It’s a popular spot!

They have showers and real toilets! It might be a ways from your campsite though. We were flashed with car lights on the middle of the night every time someone drove by us to get to them, so keep that in mind when choosing your site.

They have a swimming area with picnic tables around it, as well as parking. The swimming area seemed a little small for the potential volume this place could hold, but who knows. There’s an outhouse by the swimming area that’s not awful.

We...

This is a very beautiful and clean lake. We had an excellent time camping here and will be back regularly! The concrete swimming area was perfect. My husband is in a wheelchair and I was able to wheel him in to go swimming for the first time since becoming disabled. It was amazing. Never had such a wonderful experience before at a campground. Very good camping sites. Only downfall is the lack of trash cans and water only available to tent campers near the restroom. Other than that it was perfect. We spend our life tent camping and this is our favorite so far. Keep up the great...

This is definitely worth the drive, its a Wow Factor..the lake is huge, the campground is well maintained, clean. For bigger rigs with slide outs we recommend the A-10,A-19 sites. We are 40 ft dp 3 slides. We're in D-47, it was a tight fit, most if not all sites are back in sites. About 42 ft deep is limit. It can be a tight drive to other sites so be aware. It's 30 amp electrical, dump on way out. A-10,a-19 have water at a $4.00 extra fee. Sites have pic- nic tables, fire rings, lots of walking trails, dog on leash friendly.
