We enjoyed the fall festival there. The working sorghum cane display was interesting. The two historic buildings, the college and the church, could have been helped by signs clearly marking their location and signs with historical descriptions. There were no signs we could find describing the history of Cane Hill nor how it got its name. The church was cute and did provide a brief handout of its history inside. We appreciate the staff that provided free shuttles back to our parking spot since it was uphill and a little more remote.

I wanted something fun, low-cost, and historic to do on a weekend afternoon, and Canehill was the perfect spot! The free museum is worth a visit, and there's much more to see than I had expected. There's wonderful walking trails also.

There is a nice little museum, at no cost, that showcases the history. After the museum we took a mile hike on the orange trail. Several interesting buildings and interesting programs throughout the year. Very nice folks that are...
