Beautiful covered bridge and swimming hole! Crisp clear water. Small sandy beach and sand/gravel bottom. The deepest part is up stream of the bridge at the river bend. Also a little bootleg rope swing there. Nice public parking and day use area for picnics on the grass. Respect the locals....

One of Vermont’s historic covered bridges, well preserved, with parking, and a rope swing for those that just have to jump in and enjoy the Battenkill River. Less than 10 minutes from Manchester this is a must see item when...
