I'm trying really hard to be fair. Getting to this place took a very long time for us. We were traveling from Garland. When we got close, we noticed a long line of cars. This long line of cars were all lined up to get into Pumpkin Nights. Other vehicles kept cutting in line and the Arlington PD cruisers directing traffic did nothing to remedy the situation. By the time we got to the front, we were directed to an off site parking location over 3 miles away. We waited almost an hour and a half to be told we had to go park somewhere else. We were then put on shuttle buses and driven back to the farm. None of our drivers told us which lot we were supposed to be coming from. When it was time to leave the new drivers asked us which color lot we came from. No one on our bus had any idea what they were talking. The event was extremely crowded. There was only one person checking tickets at the entrance. It was difficult to take pictures. We waited patiently in line at each exhibit. We were told that we would have as much time as we wanted to wander the grounds; however, we had no more completed the initial course and were returning to the main area to take pictures in the pumpkin area when they started turning the lights out on us. For what they charge for tickets, this event was poorly organized and we will not...

This place has to make money in order for them to be able to justify putting it on every year. Costs of supplies, workers, and lights are high... I do understand that...
But unless you strictly want to go to look at the lights, it's nonstop cash grabs. Petting zoo, $6 for a cup of hot chocolate, $10 for parking (which, in Dec 2024, none of the signs said until you were way into the property and had already passed by enough lights to get the kids hooked; super clever).
Despite all of that, the light display is still very impressive and I do honestly feel it's worth the admission price.
So then why 1 star? Because you can pay extra to skip the "photos with santa" line. This lets your kids walk right into the house... in direct view of all the other kids who had been waiting. Multiple times I heard children behind us ask with disappointment and sadness why santa would let other kids skip the line. Y'all clearly did not think this through; this isnt your time of year to squeeze families. It's the kids' time of year to still believe.
We won't be...
