This is a unique stop to stop at while at Arlington Cemetery. It's setup as it's own site where three other family members are laid to rest with him and an "eternal flame" is burned at the flower-blanketed grave of John F. Kennedy today in lasting memorial to the assassinated 35th president of the United States. Kennedy's grave, on a green slope of the military cemetery which serves as a national shrine to the honored dead, dominates a broad vista of Washington. It faces directly across the Potomac River toward the marble-pillared memorial to Abraham Lincoln, assassinated nearly a century ago. You can find this site just below the Arlington House. I would make sure to visit.

Read moreThe President John F. Kennedy Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery is a profoundly moving tribute to a leader whose words and vision continue to inspire generations. Centered around the iconic Eternal Flame, lit by Jacqueline Kennedy, the memorial symbolizes the enduring legacy and hope JFK brought to America during his presidency. Despite acknowledged human weaknesses and private vices, I deeply respect him for the ideals he voiced and the inspiration he provided to a nation. A leader’s true measure lies in the courage to speak and inspire, not in private matters that remain personal and beyond public concern.
