Visited a new playground today and I can confirm it was a 10/10! If you’re not local to the Arlington area, I’d recommend making the drive if you’re up for it. Free parking on site and a HUGE amount of space on site, perfect for picnics, flying kites and my favorite thing to do as a kid, go and play catch! Its across from a school so I can imagine parking can be tricky during school hours. Parks open to the public daily from 7AM-9PM. They do have an on site porta-potty that’s so big, you could without a doubt fit a stroller inside if need be. I did also see a free to use water dispenser, which I appreciated with having to refill the kids cups if need be and or get some water for myself on a hot day like today. Follow & check back for more locations soon (Saugus park next) ✨🛝 #mummanelle #robbinsfarmpark #arlingtonpark #newpark #parkmom #massachusettsparkstovisit

Wood chips, sand pit. Not fenced. 2 huge plastic slides. 5 baby swings, 6 regular swings. 1 special needs swing. Awesome wooden climbable house. Gymnastics bars for taller kids. Many picnic tables and benches. Big grass field / hill, surrounded by trees. Playground structures for younger and older kids. Across the street from elementary school, so very busy when school gets outb(230p?) Trees on periphery but overall not very shaded. Street parking right along park. No meters or permit required (I think)

Fun playground. Nice view of Boston. Community garden. Across the street from a school. There’s a big field to play soccer. Plenty of picnic tables. Shade for grown-ups. Sandbox, a paved part to scoot on for smaller kids. A porta potty. The big slides are out of service at the moment (April 2023)- We hope they get fixed soon. My kids like rolling down the hill.

I loved taking my children, nephews and nieces here many years ago. The huge slide were our favorite of course. I've been hoping to take my grandchildren here for the same fun experience but it seems like the slides have been gone forever. Does anyone know when and if they'll be back? My memories date back over 27 years. I'll have to dig...
