Bald Eagle State Forest is great for hiking. It has natural areas, has state parks within its boundaries and offers a get away from it all. Trails for motorcross, mountain biking, horse back riding and trail running. Trails are well maintained and often sandy. Beautiful and not crowded. Lots of oak, maple and pine trees.

Awesome dual sport trails. A nice mix of single and double track. Free camping available. Just email the park ranger ahead of time and they'll email you the spot reservation.

I've really enjoyed at bald eagle. It's quiet and peaceful, and I've had the chance to do some hiking and thinking while I catch up with friends at a great cabin.
