I found this to be a nice quiet place to walk and unwind from some stress. Both the view of the river and the sound of the wind blowing through the trees were quite relaxing. There are no playgrounds, just walking trails and still views of the Meramec River. The path from one trailhead to the next is 2 miles. Another trail that diverts from the paved path is a little over one mile. There a couple benches along the way.
