I did the Duna Vista loop trail which is really nice with good views and great for trail running. The downside is the road walk to the trail head (adds 1.4 miles RT), the $10 vehicle fee and the $3.50 per dog fee. In total 17.00. I don't understand, if I had a car full of people it would only be $10 per vehicle. People add alot more wear and tear than my dogs who do not use any of the facilities. Ridiculous.

A big campground with a lot of loops so it doesn't feel too crowded. Many sites have full hookups. Lots of trails every where that can add to the feeling of getting away. The trails are open to mountain bikes too. We saw deer and wild turkeys every day. If here during warmer weather there is a small water park and ziplines close by. Also close enough to the coast to coast there as well.

A great little lake on the Central Coast, with tons of recreational options to choose from. Hiking, fishing, boating, camping, cycling, bird watching, with lots of wildlife. The hiking trails have amazing views, with some fun elevation options. Lots of photo opportunities! Get out and check it out!

A very nice lake for boating, kayaking, fishing, camping, bicycling, Etc. There is plenty of wildlife here such as dear, turkey vultures, mountain lions, rattlesnakes and yes even brown bears. The little market provides all your basic needs such as ice, snacks, boat rentals and a little restaurant too. We love watching the windsurfing here, the winds really do pick up pretty strongly by...
