I live in Palm desert. I have been juicing watermelons for many years. The past few years the watermelons do not have any flavor and are not sweet. I went to San Diego last year to stay with a friend. I went to a store named Barron's and saw the watermelons were grown in Bakersfield. I decided to give them a try. WOW finally a delicious sweet watermelon. I just went back to Barron's store in San Diego this past week. This is the best watermelon I have ever eaten. For the last few years I have been horribly disappointed every time I bought a watermelon. No color and no taste. When our little market here in Frazier Park had this brand (Ridge-Sweet) and I saw it was grown local in Bakersfield, I wanted to give it a try. I was not disappointed at all. Very red, sweet and juicy! I’m obsessed and can’t stop eating it!!
