Edwards Ferry — Attraction in Ashburn

Edwards ferry landing is a remarkable launch point for your boat off of the c&o canal along the Potomac River there are historic locks on the canal and an old gate house as well if you would like to learn more you can always check out the c&o canal at the National Park service website. This is a really good place for paddle boarding & kayaking. The river is wide with a mild current. During normal water level you can almost walk across the river. There are restroom facilities on site. The boat makes it easy to unload and load your water crafts. The only reason I gave a 4 star is because the shore has a lot of mud requiring cleanup at home but it is well worth it. We went with 3 paddle boards & 2 kayaks. My 6 YO & 2 YO...
