Blue Ridge National Heritage Area — Attraction in Asheville

Great Visitors Center with plenty of parking and a couple of picnic tables. On the far end of the parking lot, you'll find the access to the trails - a short 1.5 mile loop hike (TRACK Trail) and access to the Mountains-to-Sea Trail (MST). The TRACK Trail is easy, small hills, several steps and you get to go through a short tunnel beneath the Parkway. Very informative visitor center and a good place to learn about the sights and culture of the area. There are a few trails near the center where you can hike.
