Smells, full of hair, & rude! My family paid cash, entered the pool, (for the first time) and settled in our spot. We got into the water for about 5 minutes until they blew the whistle for adult only swim. My son had athletic water shorts on and a rude life guard said he could not wear those shorts in the water. Reason being "hygiene." Most hygiene comes from people showering and being clean entering the pool...not the material of their shorts. So when I spoke with the manager to get my money back since we could not swim, she refused to give it back. She was extremely rude and claimed she could not give me the money because she wouldn't be able to tell where the money went later. Yet, she could write me a "receipt" to go to the city office for a refund that they offer. Mind you, their system was very new and very much able to track where a refund came from. The water smelled like a towel left in the washing machine overnight, but I guess that comes from the material of people swim attire... ? I would never recommend wasting your time or gas going there. There was long black hair that tangled around me in a matter of minutes of being in the water along with the horrible stench coming off the water. They offered a free pass which I most definitely refused. Hard pass! Signed-- feeling...
Read moreMissed registration for swim lessons for my 1 year old by a day although there is n. deadline to sign up posted on the Ashland City posting. I called missy for more information as her staff were clueless and had little to no information on being able to be put on a wait or cancellation list or if late sign ups were being taken. (How is anyone supposed to know the number of participants when I’m not involved directly with the organization.) I was greeted with blunt frustration by missy for asking about a late sign up stating if she did it for me she would have to do it for everyone, which I understand that but felt it didn’t hurt to ask, for all I knew maybe not many kids were signed up. She threw in my face her mother just passed away making it feel as though I was the worst person for having questions (due to poor marketing) during this difficult time in her life. I think the city should give her time off of her responsibilities to handle that because if you choose to carry on and work it doesn’t make you entitled to make patrons feel horrible for a question about your services when your staff doesn’t know. Will never give another cent...
Read moreI’ve gone to this pool multiple times throughout the years never had an issue till yesterday. Me and my friends were swimming in the pool and one of my friends realizes the old lady with white hair(assuming owner) was pointing at all of us across the pool talking to a staff member. Not even 5 mins later the staff member comes up to us saying that our bathing suits are highcut and we would need to cover up or we could go home to change. Now I live 25 mins away im not gonna waste my gas to go change. So we ask if they can do a refund. Nope not at all they don’t do refunds. We start to look around the pool looking at other peoples bathing suits some people had the same type of style bathing suit or showing more skin. (And other rules that the pool has that people didn’t follow)I think it’s very unprofessional and rude to single out certain ppl when there’s others that are showing just as much skin. Your lifeguards show just as much skin down below as the people who pay to come swim. Next time if you’re gonna have rules imply them to everyone not just certain people. Will be...
