Attended Fishing Event @ Courthouse Park - By Hanover County-VA.. It was good.. We won a Fishing pole too.. Relatively less fishes in the pond.. But it was lot of fun for us to catch and leave it.. Thanks Hanover country for this Event.. "Taylor, the Hanover Parks and Recreation mascot, has his pirate costume on and is ready for some Pirate Fishing FUN! Kids will also have the opportunity to make a craft project and get a pirate tattoo in the "Children's Cove". Taylor is bringing his large inflatable pirate ship for you to play in, just in case the fish aren't biting. Fishing professionals from Virginia Fishing Adventures will be on-hand to assist all young pirates in their fishing adventures. No fishing license needed. Bait and rods will be available on a first come, first served basis so if you are able, please bring your own. "

There A Hockey Place On The Left, Then On The Right There R Fields (Where I Play Football) Then There's A Wonderful Playground And That's Where I Meet 2 Great Danes. And If U Keep Going Back There Is A Drop off Place Where U Drop Off Ur Trush & Recycles Then U Can Go To The Very Back Where U Can Put Big And Heavy Stuff Then If U Go Around That There's A Place Where U Put Tree And Yard Rubish And Dump It Back There¡¡ 😄 👊=💓 #StayTuned

I wish I could do 4.5 stars, because we love going to this park! The playground is up to date and has fun activities for kiddos. However, there is one big complaint both my 5 year old and I share. There is a serious lack of shade! On very hot days there isn't a comfortable shaded area to escape to for resting in. The equipment gets pretty hot and can be uncomfortable due to that also. On a cool or cloudy day We'd give the park 5 stars but on a sunny hot day we just can't handle the beaming sun! I love the open space to run in near the playground on those cloudy days though! The only bathroom available when there are no sports teams around is a porta potty. It's usually fairly clean tbh but it is a porta potty so no matter what it has a not so...

My sister took my 5 yr old son to this park today simply to play on the playground. They were approached by a couple who were pretty adamant they didn’t want my son playing there. They even Harassed my sister about her address and all. This is the type of racist behavior you condone?? My son was visibly upset. A FIVE YEAR OLD.
