IF YOU ARE MOBILITY CHALLENGED BEWARE!! Getting to the parking lot for.ADA ticket holders was a wild and crazy road. We got a great parking spot in the horrible lot made of mud, gravel, and grass. There was no paved area for the disabled to use a wheelchair or other mobility Equipment My wheelchair was stuck in the gravel and mud. My friend and I were not able to move my chair out of the ditch we were stuck in. Enter Good Samaritan #1–not a staff member but someone who worked at the radio station there got us out and drove us all the way to our seat A rep from Etix helped me getting my ADA tickets. I was prepared to purchase the Platinum tickets but I was told that I should buy the GA tickets and that I’d be seated right in the first row of Platinum seats. Nope. We were seated behind all the Gold Circle and Platinum seats. Of course, once the band started, everyone stood up and all I could see was a sea of butts A man suggested that we move to another area so I could see better. He offered to help us get to the place. I was not comfortable moving in front of others after the concert began. My friend asked a girl in front of me if she could move over to the left so I could see better. In a second, her grandmother and the girls all helped us to move to the fence. It was better but not great. On the way out, a gentleman asked if he could help us. He pushed me out into the parking lot to my car. This venue isn’t truly accessible. It would only take a few aisles of tar for mobility challenged patrons. There should be a decent area at front so handicapped people could easily access and enjoy the concert they wanted to see. The show was excellent and I’d give them 5 stars, but the venue was not even close to ADA guidelines and made for a frustrating night. Not one staff person offered to help us. Thank God for the nice...
Read moreI was so excited to discover a small concert venue not too far from home! I enjoyed how easy the parking situation was, plus it was free! There were many places to buy food and drinks, but only one merchandise tent which was at least 100 people long. However, I was not prepared for the bathroom situation. While I did expect port-a-potties, I did not expect there to be so few. The concert I was at had thousands of people, but there were about 30 bathrooms total. The line was so long that my friend and I upgraded to the "VIP" section, which had private bathrooms. Sadly, that only meant 2 stalls for the couple hundred people that had also upgraded. During the concert, someone puked in the bathroom and they closed the bathrooms completely and I had to go to the regular line, which was even longer at that point and caused me to miss about 20 minutes of the concert. When I tell you there were fights happening in the bathroom lines, I am not exaggerating. That night, there was really bad rain, and aside from the mud everywhere, there were also men peeing out in the open near the bathrooms, so it was a combination of mud and urine. I had really high hopes for this venue, and I will consider going again, but there has to be a way to make the environment...
Read moreGreat family activity when it’s cold and no one wants to get out of the car. Driving over late in the evening from Fredericksburg on 12/27, we weren’t sure if we’d make it. But, we arrived ~9:30p and they seemed to be taking cars up until 10p. There was absolutely no line this late at night. We tuned on the radio and our car crawled thru at a leisurely pace taking about 45mins to wind all the way thru it. Music synchronization was impressive and we loved the drive-thru light tunnels. Would be an easy event to grow bigger and better each year. There were cars behind us wanting to speed thru it faster - fortunately in the absence of any car lines, there were wide enough lanes to let impatient and rude folks pass who opt to sail thru with headlights on and all. Tough to give 5 stars because while the music sync was incredible and the distance of drive-thru track just right, I honestly expected more lights (albeit there were a lot), and it’s all subjective but perhaps a fast-lane and slow-lane. Employees walking about should remind drivers to turnoff headlights - no one wants that as a distraction...
