What an uncomfortable atmosphere! I visited today 1-28-2020 and honestly will not be back. I came alone with my son shortly after they opened. As far as I could tell my son and I were the only ones there. We were followed by two guards (I suppose that's what they were since we were treated like criminals) the entire time. I knew from the website not to bring a bag so my son and I came ready to observe some art and hopefully start an appreciation for art and conversation about things he saw that interested him. Two guards followed us constantly but not from a distance. It was such a blatant hovering that made me very uncomfortable. Instead of enjoying my visit I actually cut my visit short and left because I felt so harassed and uncomfortable. They are not accomplishing anything by driving away visitors. I even tried to smile at one of the guards in an attempt to be polite and she stared me down like a criminal about to perform an art heist. I would NOT recommend this place at all. Does a single woman and child really need two guards following them?! Honestly, just have a sign that says mother's with children...

My grandchildren, age 3 and 5, and I enjoyed our day trip. Especially covered parking since it was a rainy morning. Our visit was somewhat dampened by an incident where I asked the eldest which was her favorite piece. In her excitement she forgot the 'no touch' rule and as she reached to touch the piece this sour woman, who must have been following us, appeared from around the corner and scolded her as I was also saying 'don't touch'. I didn't think she had touched the piece and said so. That prompted the sour faced woman to tell me she did. I asked the child if she had touched the picture and she said she had. I attemted to apologize to the sour face but she was not accepting. So, if you go be aware that with children you may stalked and pounced on. Yes, I know, don't touch the pictures/art.
