There is plenty of open, grassy space for play, but the majority of attractions for kids in this open park are all centralized at the top of the hill above the parking lot. It can be hard to find parking when there are soccer games. The walk to the playground can be a bit much for very little ones--you'll want to bring a stroller, especially if you have anything else to tote. There is a splash pad and a medium-sized play structure with a few swings right beside an enclosed fitness area and an enclosed baseball field. The ground is solid rubber in the play and exercise areas, which is so nice when coming in and out of the splash pad so you don't have to worry about shoes. The bathrooms are clean and open during park hours and are part of the same shelter that has picnic tables by the ball field. There is another shelter with picnic tables by the splash pad. Both shelters are available for rent. The only thing I don't like about this area is that kids can easily open the gate to the fitness area and play on the equipment, which is designed for use by adults and can be dangerous for kids. There are also multi-use mountain bike trails here, but be careful walking on them--look out for bikes. If you found this review helpful, please give it a...
Read moreLove this place for little ones. It only cost $1 per person to play all day. All the little ones there have a good time and are allowed to run and jump as they please without getting into trouble. They also have a playground for ages 3-12 and workout equipment for 14 and up. The play ground is unique. It looks like it would be challenging and fun for the older kids which I think is good. It is hot hot hot in the summer on the play ground and on the mat around the playground. My daughter had to wear her shoes to play. The workout stations have equipment you not typically see at parks. I didn't get on any but it looks like it would be a great free alternative to the gym. They have an elliptical, a bike and other workout equipment. It is all metal to resist the elements since...
Read moreI'm super disappointed that my nephews birthday party didn't go as planned when my brother and sister in law had paid for the party and for the splash pad for guests. The covered area had a note that it was for the party, but no one was there to run the splash pad, and they had closed it. The worst part was that my sis in law confirmed it earlier in the week that they would have it open. They said it was confirmed, and then we all got there, and no one is running it, and it was closed. Even online, I checked on the way there when putting in directions, and it said it was open. It's...
