Had the best time here! We’re staying at the Getaway and it was a quick 25 minute drive. The owner’s husband was outside racking and his wife took care of our tasting. She was the absolute sweetest. Learned all about their family, why they started and how. The wines were wonderful. Loved the porch swing, cab franc and the Tempranillo reserve. My boyfriend was a huge fan of the King P, even bought a bottle. Definitely strong on the brandy front but super fragrant and tasted delicious. If you’re in town and have the opportunity, definitely stop by. We wanna come back for bring your own meat night!

This place is amazing! We were in Athens for a weekend getaway from McKinney. We visited here twice. First on Friday night for a tasting and tour. It was so fun. Brett is so passionate about his wines and took us all over and showed us the vineyards and wine making equipment. The next day we came to Bring your own meat night, and had a few bottles of wine. Both Rae and Brett really make you feel like family here. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to make another trip one day...maybe once they have the cabin open for Airbnb that they're building!

We were greeted by one of the owners, Rae, as we got out of our vehicle in the parking area. Madison and Rae took great care of us throughout our visit. Rae was delightful as she spent time talking with us about her business, answering all sorts of questions from us. The wines we tried were all very good and the excellent cuatomer service is what really makes this small family vineyard shine. Keep up the great work. I would highly recommend a stop here for some local hospitality and some good conversation. Rae keep your eye out for some cheese curds.
