Flat level trail on an old railroad bed that is covered with fine gravel. Smooth trail. Most of the trail is a charming scenic view of countryside and farmland. The old railroad bed allows the trail to be wide enough for pedestrians to comfortably pass bicycles and horses.
Beware β οΈ there is no shoulder of flat ground. The trail itself is 6 to 10 ft wide with sudden shoulder drop offs of at least 1 or 2 ft. into the ditch. Which could be tricky for a young riders. π΄ββοΈπ΄π΄ββοΈ

I would suggest if you are going back the same way as you started that you start at the Englewood end so you can cruise back down, instead of 'up' like we did!!!
