I enjoy going to this park with my dog. Nice big open areas for her to run around. There are several different things you can do at this park. There is a jungle gym for the kido's. There are ball feilds, and picnic tables under a pavillion.
I've been to this park several times and just this last visit did I notice that there are historic marks near one of the entrances. Unfortuntitly I did not go over and read them to find out what actually happen at that location. I will check that out the next time I go.
I'm a photographer and this park offers several places to have great pictures taken. My favorite is the old railroad crossing bridge. I did a photoshoot there many years ago. I've also filmed driving through the park for my non profit, The Green Buddha Company...

But, is still one of the coolest places to visit on a chill day. The park is closed due to the lack of funding and care etc. The swimming pool is a cool place to kick it in the summer... But, the community is suffering badly by drugs, crime and police! The neighborhoods provide a nice place to live. The living is affordable and coveniently near Marta. The down side would be that there are limited restaurant s that will deliver and things are not in a short walking distance... But,...
