Best known for the ultimate frisbee course and the homeless who hang out here, I like to visit the park for nature walks. There are often a lot of kids on the playgrounds and sometimes folks have parties at the grilling areas and picnic tables. If you wander from these things, you'll bump into frisbee folks, so watch out for discs flying through the air.

There's a nice creek that runs through the park, plenty of green space with empty grassy areas, and then the woods, which are what keep me coming back. There are wild flowers and mushrooms and squirrels, and if you miss the living in the suburbs like I sometimes do, this is an okay (though not always peaceful) place to get your green fix.

There's always been ample parking...

This park was thriving on Memorial Day weekend. I decided to take a stroll and get a better feel for what the park was like. It's right off of Metropolitan Pkwy in West End Atlanta. It's a pretty clean park with nice outdoor space the whole family can enjoy. Next to the covered pavilion is an outside fountain for kids to run around and get wet. I also saw tennis and basketball courts in the park. The real highlight for me was the nature trails that seemed to be hiding behind the more opened spaces. I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed my little nature hike. There is a lovely creek that runs through the trail. There were a couple of groups enjoying a hike while playing disc golf. I'm already looking forward to...

I'm reviewing this park as a disc golf player, not a general park goer. The course is very challenging with vertical steep grades, creeks running through it, and trees/bushes to try and avoid. In one stretch it has a deep creek that runs through the middle and you're in for a climb if you happen to land a disc down in the bed of the creek. I would definitely recommend a play here! I played during the fall but I'm sure it's a beautiful course during the summer.

All of that being said; this course is in a VERY DANGEROUS part of town. If you come here to play disc golf please use caution, travel in a group, don't leave valuables in your car. We have heard of several car break-ins here. There are no...

Not to sure what the big hype about this disc golf park was i was a little upset pulling in. The spot Variety is great an the tee pads are nice but the upkeep on the park is awful 😖 Trash everywhere you look old basket balls an other odd trash fills the little water ways an the area around is not much better rough houses, no waves, or smiling faces when pulling around the block. To have something so nice an treat it like trash is a shame. Nicest part of the park is in the photo. Other then that I waisted my 1 game on this vacation here.
