Just an absolute delightful place for a day date or a trip with the kids. The yaks are adorable and sweet. The wine was delicious, they skew sweet but the dry ones were quite tasty. I loved the pawpaw which is as delightfully fruity as you'd expect. The food was honestly a very pleasant surprise. It's mostly a selection of various grilled cheeses but OH MY GOODNESS are they good! My photo has just a nubbin of the goat cheese, honey and walnut sandwich because it was so freaking good (tangy and sweet with some good texture from the walnut). The cheddar gouda one was amazing and smoky. The grounds are very walkable with trees and a lavender lined pond. Lots of butterflies too. The staff was so friendly and kind. 10/10, can't wait for pawpaw season!

I brought my family to visit after reading an article about Woolly Yak Ranch and Winery providing jobs for people with disabilities. It’s a beautiful property with activities to entertain the whole family. We tasted a few of their wines; the red blend was our favorite. The owner was really friendly and welcoming. She told us about the ecosystem in the pond, the bats who eat the mosquitoes, and the birds who get rid of the bugs and flies. The birds and the bats are doing a great job because we didn’t have any flies at lunch! We enjoyed our visit and will definitely come back to support their mission.

Our family really enjoyed our visit to Wooly Yak Ranch just west of Arcadia. The owner and the staff were extremely personable, and the beverages and food were delicious. I especially liked the lavender lemonade shakeup and watermelon salad. The farm, old homestead setting is beautiful and restful. It’s definitely worth visiting this peaceful place if you enjoy a country getaway. I’ve not attended an outdoor concert, yet, but I will in the future. I felt like I was back on my grandmother’s farm sitting on the porch by the pond, enjoying her iced lemonade on a hot day with my family. Wonderful.

Woolly Yak Ranch and Winery is hands down one of the most unique and enjoyable destinations I've ever visited! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and beautiful views of the rolling hills and grazing yaks. Yes—actual yaks! They are adorable, majestic, and surprisingly friendly, adding such a special charm to the whole experience.

We enjoy spending some "rocking chair time" on the cabin porch watching the antics of the purple martens by the pond and the overall scenery.

The owner, Cathy, was knowledgeable, passionate, and made the experience both educational and fun. We loved learning more about the yaks and the sustainable practices behind the scenes—fascinating stuff you don’t get at your average winery.

Whether you're a wine lover, an animal enthusiast, or just looking for a relaxing day in a beautiful setting, Woolly Yak Ranch and Winery is a hidden gem with unforgettable charm. Can’t...

Wines are above par, and the service inside was absolutely amazing…. Now for the food truck… Juice was not worth the squeeze so to speak. My wife had the grilled cheese which was absolutely loaded. I had the street tacos which left something to be desired. Especially for $14. I requested no cheese, but they had cheese on then which is something I’ve dealt with since I was old enough to eat food at restaurants. I retuned my food, but I was close enough to hear as another couple ordered tacos just as I retuned mine, but received theirs in less than 30 seconds. I can only assume they received the tacos I had just returned for having cheese on them considering I waited another 5 minutes for my correct order to come out. I cannot confirm 100% that is exactly what happened, but I think I know I’m on...

What an amazing experience at Woolly Yak Ranch & Winery!

Huge thank you to the wonderful owners, Chris and Cathy Lammer and their sons for your incredible hospitality. The yaks are absolutely adorable, and every staff member we met was so kind and friendly—it truly felt like visiting family.

We were grateful to attend a fundraiser trivia night supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and it meant so much to enjoy such a fun evening for a cause close to our hearts. I had a blast attending with my grandma and husband! We appreciate their support of the community and local non-profits.

The wine was delish, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We can’t wait to come back again. Thank you for such a special...
