Atoka County Museum and Confederate Cemetery — Attraction in Atoka

No wait during the week! Check website or call ahead for museum availability, as they rely on volunteer staff. Museum entry was free, but donations were accepted.

Staff on-site were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! Grounds were well-kept and there was plenty of parking available during my visit. It’s worth stopping in for a quick visit to learn a little bit about Atoka’s history!

School groups & other large group tours may be accommodated! Call ahead to schedule any large tours. This would be a fun visit for anyone traveling through, and a great spot to enjoy lunch outdoors...

This little county museum is well worth a stop. Despite its free admission (there is a donation box) there is much to learn about this area’s rich history, and how the civil war played into the area.
