Lake Superior Historical Marker at Scott Falls Roadside Park — Attraction in Au Train Township

SCOTT FALLS IS ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE ROADSIDE PARK.

My pop and I did a couple of a drive bys before we opened our eyes wide enough to see it. Super cool beach access with a waterfall across the street! Definitely worth cooking out and hanging out for a lunch.

The beach access area was clean! Bathrooms were outstanding as well! Happy to see people cleaning up and treating the place with respect! I mean it’s really not that hard to take care of YOUR OWN TRASH! I love you for respecting nature.

This is one of the greatest stops in the UP, HOWEVER MDOT needs to tend to the restroom more frequently. Given it is one of the most frequented roadside parks, the restroom is absolutely awful. Truly the worst in the UP, consistently. Honestly, I would much rather use the woods. If you brave them, hold your breath, watch your shoes, and bring your own TP. At first it doesn't look like much of a roadside scenic view stop until you walk through the forest and to the beach! Wow is an understatement. You have to walk down the beach and walk toward the cliffs. It was a very windy day when we visited so the waves that washed up to the shore were huge and looked so beautiful crashing along the cliffs.
