Sun Valley — Attraction in Auburn Township

Nice venue with good parking. Attended an outside wedding there. The seats were slightly foward due to terrain. No sound system, so couldn’t hear the officiant or the wedding couple. The reception was indoors and the sound system was absolutely ridiculous. The room is echoey and many guests had a difficult time hearing. The DJ was overly loud and distorted.

I understand you that you experienced difficulties with the sound during the ceremony and reception. While the sound systems and DJs are chosen and managed by the families and couples that book Sun Valley (they in turn are responsible for all music/PA/production of the ceremony & reception), we always strive to suggest vendors that meet our exceptional standards. However, whom a couple decides to select, is their choice. We hope other couples take your comments to heart and take care in selecting and coordinating with their vendors to avoid the same issues you experienced. Thank you again for your feedback. My husband I got married at Sun Valley on 10/14/22, and I would highly, highly recommend this venue!! The scenery was absolutely beautiful, the inside was clean and spacious, and all of their staff is wonderful! I felt like everyone I interacted with during the planning process as well as the rehearsal and day of truly cared about making our day perfect. We received many compliments from our friends and family about how beautiful the venue is both inside and outside. I worked with Jennifer throughout the planning process, and she was not only so incredibly sweet and helpful, but she was also super quick at responding to emails and any questions I had whether big or small. Halle and Kendall were both SO sweet and helpful, and the bartender, Bobby (who I believe works for the venue) was absolutely wonderful! I would definitely recommend Sun Valley to any couple looking for a beautiful venue, especially if they want an outdoor ceremony in the fall!
