My brother and his family live in Brunswick and EVERY time he comes down to MA to visit he brings two 50lb bags of potatoes. I live in an over 62 community and the residents just love the potatoes. They aren't anything like what we get at the local grocery stores. These potatoes are very firm, crisp and large. The bags have never lasted more than two hours after I put them out for the residents. This past weekend, I brought back three 50lb. bags. They were wiped out in three hours. I have also purchased acorn and butternut squash and I am just glad not to have to buy from the grocery store. They just seem fresher, though I know they have been in cold storage, something the grocery stores don't seem to care about. Can't wait to see what garden season...
