Scroll to the bottom to see the new review edited from original review date January 2022 The park was easy to find but it is located about 10 miles from I 5. There is pavement all the way including in the park. Signage is adequate. Check in was friendly but took an unexpected turn. We had booked our site prior to our arrival. We were allotted site 1. The telephone attended noted that it would be long enough to suit our needs. We were informed by the Camp Host that they had given away site 1 and we would have to search another one that would fit our rig. Just an FYI, we are not all that long. Our coach is a short 28 feet. At first, we didn’t think it would be that big of a deal until we discovered that the sites were still snow covered and not all that easy to see how long they were. Plus, we really didn’t like the idea of us doing their leg work. We are not familiar with the park. After a long drive, all we wanted to do was set up and sit back. We were told site 6 might be vacant and we should fit so we decided to just take it. After disconnecting our Jeep and backing into the site we thought it was NOT a long site. We were as far back as we thought we should go. Any further looked like we might be on dirt. We stayed where we were as we were not going to walk the park looking for a longer site. We just parked our towed on the street (with the approval of the host). This was not a good start to our stay. The next morning we found that site 6 would have been long enough. What we thought was dirt was just snow covered ice. Our site, 06, was a back in that was just long enough for our Coach but not the Towed in it’s present condition.. Services (30 amp and water) were to the left side. We discovered the water was not available as the plumbing is not heated. This park is advertised as being year round. The lack of water should have been advertised and the price reduced for off season. Distancing is close and there is no vegetation barrier for privacy. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Our site was flat but had severe slope to the front. When the coach was leveled the front wheels were off the ground. This makes for a high first step into the motor home. We did not use the washroom so can not comment on it;s condition. We found this park to be a poorly operated urban RV park. Being advertised as year round, the roads and sites should have been plowed. No water available should have been advertised. The Camp Host should not be allowed to give away booked sites on a whim. We paid $35.00 per night and we feel we received very poor value. We will not be back. Edited review October 2023 There just isn’t a whole lot of options for RV Parks in the area. We found ourselves here again. Not much has changed since we were last here two years ago except this time it wasn’t snow covered and the Park Host was exceptionally good. Our site,10, was a back in that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp and water) were to the left side. Distancing is close and there is no vegetation barrier for privacy. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Our site was flat and even. We did not use the washroom so can not comment on its condition. We found this park to be a very well operated urban RV park. We paid $40.00 per night and we feel we received very Good value. We will be back if in the area again.

Game Farm Park and Green River Trail are kind of one of the same. The trail is paved and runs along the Green River so that you can see the water the entire time. Plenty of scattered benches and trash cans. There are side trails to get down to the water, but the current is fast and people have been known to drowned. I wouldn’t recommend swimming. There is a disc golf course that runs along a section of the trail that seems popular. Game Farm Park has flushing toilet bathrooms that are always clean, a covered picnic table area and plenty of grass patches to lounge on. There’s also a camping section of this park that I have never reserved so I can’t speak to that experience; however, I can see that there is tent and RV camping. Points to the Host who puts out signs to keep non-campers away from the campground, so that they could have a better experience. -🥾Trail Condition: great. Paved. -🧗‍♀️Incline: Flat -🚗Parking: Parking lot. Holds around 50 cars. -🧍🏽Popularity: popular. Campers. (Thursday at 10am) -☀️Sun: 100% shade -🦋Insects: none -🚽Bathrooms: flushing toilets -📲Cell Phone: great (Verizon) -🐇Wildlife: squirrels. Birds. -🌿Plants: standard natives

Incredible value. Wonderful quiet refuge in the forest It truly is Wilderness oasis. Escape the asphalt Jungle of the greater Seattle Tacoma area & the I-5 Corridor... cor very little expense and no long distances to travel, you can find peace, quiet, seclusion and wildlife. Not only that there are bike and walking paths along a beautiful river setting. Pets allowed. A perfect affordable retreat fur anyone. A small intimate friendly location with less than 20 RV spaces allows you to take refuge from the ceazy overrated urban mess. Operated by the city of Auburn, firc$35/night you have a campsite with everything except for sewer hook-ups but Cdump station is located o. Property along with public restrooms. Build a camp fire, tell stories, and relax... y dog and I l ou ve it there. The two Gentlemen hosts live on property abd tbey are kind, friendly and helpful. Check in is 2 pm... Check out is 1 p.m. You can't beat it! This place is clean well-kept and you can feel that they take pride in this property. I highly recommend it and it gets all the stars I can. I'm going back as will my dog Apollo.k

I've stayed at this campground a handful of times over years when I need a couple of days to myself in my trailer without having to drive too far. I have always enjoyed my visits in the past and I have never had a bad experience until my most recent stay. Unfortunately they have new on site hosts since my last visit with the primary host being an elderly woman who is uncomfortably unprofessional and problematic so she can get her fix of over reacting and complaining about issues to anyone who will listen, that includes campers such as myself who may have chosen to spend their time and money to reserve a few nights to not have to interact with people and rather keep to themselves. Despite the fact that I personally didn't have any issues or reasons to be bothered it was impossible to avoid the host rolling up to my campsite every time she caught me outside of my rig so she can talk for minutes on end about things I wish not to know about. She feels

to drama dump on anyone who is too polite or non confrontational to ask her to stop. I was not comfortable with asking her to please just leave me alone because again she is the main host and I fear if I had done so who's to know what nonsensical things would be said about me to fellow campers or staff. Please don't misunderstand my complaint as me being a grumpy old man who is not cordial enough to exchange quick pleasantries upon passing. I have no problem with that and I find those interactions appropriate and endearing. My complaint is the fact that I had to spend a good 20 to 30 minutes out of my time on a daily basis to listen to the host complain about other campers and providing me with personal details about some of the campers that I find highly inappropriate and unprofessional. She went as far as to insinuate that she had suspicions that some of the campers had substance abuse issues or were unemployed. She speculated about another having anger and mental issues. She even had the audacity to tell me about an elderly couple she felt were too old to operate their own truck and trailer and was considering calling the DMV to report these poor people despite they clearly made it to the site just fine. I left feeling mortified knowing she had everyone's personal information at her disposal and she feels like she has the authority to use this information to however she sees fit and to share that information with whoever. I wish I had never returned to this location knowing that my personal information is now in the hands of this host. I have never felt compelled to leave a review for any establishment but I have the responsibility to advise other people considering visiting this location to beware of what you may have to experience. It's not the quiet friendly campground I loved for many years and that's unfortunate. Luckily there are still a couple of other local campgrounds that are still professionally managed with hosts that are pleasant and able to give you the good ol morning head nod and leave you be. By the way during my time I did not notice ANY of the other campers being a nuisance at all. Everyone was quiet and respectful as far as I saw. The only small quarrel I witnessed was from the camp host raising her voice at a camper a few sites down from mine during the time of check out to advise them that they needed to pay a $40 late checkout fee. I found it unnecessary since I heard the guy tell his wife that he wanted to wait for the other rigs to finish using the dump station so they didn't block anyone else from being able to leave. Their rv was fairly large. This was at about 1:15pm as well which seems a bit unreasonable as they didn't appear to have malicious intent or abusing the check out rules they were trying to be considerate to others which under normal circumstances anyone could appreciate. They were also one of the campers the host complained about, so this was clearly a manipulative power move, and another situation she felt necessary to complain to me about,. what a...

RV overnighted.

Beautiful place. Well maintained.

Small RV campground.

The Camp Host is amazing!

It's just the people that RVed here. There were some very sketchy people staying the night we were here.

My husband was sitting outside of our RV and our neighbor's had a dog which was on a short chain, got itself entangled around the table that it was chained to. The dog started to whine in desperation.

No one came out to help the dog.

My husband didn't want to interfere so he waited until the dog's seeming owner showed up and mentioned that the dog was struggling.

The guy ignored my husband, acted like he didn't hear him, and then the guy just walked into his RV.

My husband came in and just brushed it off.

A few minutes later, we get this aggressive knock on our door. My husband opens the door and a women starts yelling at my husband, telling him 'don't mess with my dog.' 'We're trying to train her.'

My husband tells her, he did not address her dog, touch her dog, or had anything to do with the dog. She just kept saying... don't mind her, she's a puppy, don't mind her, let her go.

Ummmm. My husband realized she seemed a bit 'off' maybe on 'something.' She just seemed skittish and moving around in a jerky fashion. And just making no sense.

So my husband just wrapped it up by saying, your dog is adorable so I let your friend know she was wrapped up around the table and may have needed some help.

She kept mouthing off like she just didn't get it.

Closed our door.

We are just disappointed in the quality of people that are around us.

On the other side of us there is large group drinking, blocking the one way lane with their cars and making a bunch of noise.

There is no bushes or plants or dividers blocking you from your neighbors. Just a strip of grass. No privacy.

On our walk towards the river trail. There were some men on bikes that looked like they were dealing drugs. Ugh. Scary. Sketchy.

Just...
