This is a lovely place to enjoy nature in Auburn, AL. Free admission to the park and cheap admission to events makes it easy to enjoy. The nature playground is a great spot to let kids explore and play. Don't forget to check out the little free library in the treehouse while you are there. If you are up for a hike there is much beauty to explore with a lovely turtle pond tucked in the middle of the preserve. I always feel better after time spent at the Kreher Preserve and...

A child-friendly wooded oasis in Auburn. For adults and seniors it's a pleasant 2 to 4 mile walk/hike on 120 pretty acres. Paper maps are available in an outdoor classroom located past the entry pavilion (also called the Nature Center). Look for a large open-sided structure. There is plenty of trail signage and once you have a map, finding your way is fairly easy. The Nature Center/entry pavilion...

This is an awesome place if you enjoy walks through nature. They have a playground, garden, education center and have a good bit of events. They also do nature education themed birthday parties, my daughter loved it. They have some insects, reptiles, and amphibians in their education center which are fun to see if it is open. I'm really looking forward to the sensory garden. Just know, they...

Love coming here for hikes and geocaching with my family. Great trails for my 5 and 10 year old boys to burn off some energy with a fun playground. Perfect way to spend time outdoors in nature away from screens! UPDATE: the stuck collection is impeccable. Many magic wands, light sabers, and rocket launches were found. Imaginations always nurtured in nature.
