On May 17th 2014 my wife and I experienced one of the most beautiful and flawless weddings we have ever been a part of, and much of the credit goes to the staff at Perry Landing.
We described the Venue to friends as being “Country Elegance.” From the horses, to the chickens in the nearby pen, to the perfectly decorated “Barn” with crystal chandeliers—the most elegant barn we have ever seen—the day could not have been more perfect!
And as if the perfect reception and ceremony venues were not perfect enough, the circa 1940 house where the bridal parties showered, dressed and prepared for the ceremony took it to another level of perfection. The house is wonderfully appointed with beautiful furniture, multiple bedrooms in separate wings for the bride, bridesmaids, groom and groomsmen.
As the ceremony came to an end we thought to our selves, “this has been perfect to this point, what could the downside be? Maybe the food will not be what we expected?” Well, the food was not what we expected, It far, far, far exceeded our expectations. The food was 5-Star quality!! We have dinned in some of the finest restaurants in the world and the food was simple and absolutely perfectly prepared and served!
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Mignon! You and your staff at Perry Landing made our Son and his Brides’ special day the most joyful and memorable day of their lives! Everything was PERFECT!

Read moreMy name is Abbie Johnson. My fiancé and I just left here and the owner was extremely rude. Told us the minimum she could do was twelve grand. When I called her Sunday about missing our appointment she said she would give a discount. She also said she would make it worth our while and give us a tour herself. We didn’t see her until the end of the tour and it was to talk about pricing. She was very pushy and didn’t listen to us. We found everything we needed for less then five hundred else where. We just needed a venue. Just for the venue is fifty five hundred but what she doesn’t tell you is there’s a thousand dollar deposit that doesn’t go toward your total nor does it get refunded when the wedding is over. So in total it would be sixty five hundred, NOT fifty five. It didn’t look clean at all, looks like it was thrown together. Also very pushy about the things that they offer even after we said we didn’t need it. She acted like it was a joke and didn’t take us serious AT ALL. She acted like that after we mentioned we had outside sources that were cheaper. Would not recommend unless you’re willing to put a pretty penny down for a decent sized wedding. Good luck to whomever chooses this place. We will be taking our...
Read moreAttended a wedding here a couple weeks ago. All parts of the venue were gorgeous even after the hurricane and the environment was both classy and comfortable. The event coordination, which seemed to be all in-house, was somewhat lacking. A few small changes would have made a big difference in the experience. Upon arrival, parking was not clearly designated and there was no direction for where guests needed to go for the ceremony. We ended up walking through where the wedding party was being staged. Each portion of the event (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner/dancing) was held in a different space and the lack of direction continued through all of that. Guests were constantly being told they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. During dinner service the water goblets were never filled and all the other beverages were in a different space. The tables were not cleared periodically and there was also nowhere for guests to put their trash or clear their own places, so the table became crowded with plates and cups quickly. I think a little more attention to detail in the guest experience would...
