Went to Highland Hollows for the first time today to play pickleball. What a gorgeous park overall! To clarify, there are 4 PICKLEBALL courts at Highland Hollows. Other reviewers keep saying this park has tennis courts, IT DOES NOT. There are 14 parks in Aurora with tennis courts (only 3 of which are lined for pickleball, the other courts say “TENNIS ONLY”). There are only 6 parks in Aurora with actual pickleball courts. Highland Hollows is one.
This park has paved walking trails, mature trees providing shade in the grass, a covered picnic area and a second area with covered seating. It also has a basketball and a sand volleyball court. Playground too, and a port-a-potty by the PB courts (there could be more, that’s all I saw).
All the courts are in great shape! BB & PB courts had people playing the entire time we were there. Dad’s & sons, couples, friends. People of all ages at the park today! Doing everything from flying kites to walking dogs, playing at the playground, having lunch, and just hanging out. Fills my heart to see Aurora residents utilizing these...
Read moreI guess they figure people don’t play tennis anymore! I hate the whole court is reserved for raggedy pickleball! In a neighborhood with LOTS of teens this park should be inclusive, idc take your pickleball to other courts if this one is full! They should only have 2 courts reserved for pickleball and other two should be tennis! Just like they are in these comments telling us to drive you drive to find an open pickleball court! Aurora wonders why they are always low rated of cities to live high crime and for kids running a muck you make...

I enjoyed the walking paths, it's a great park to get your steps in. There is a covered picnic/grilling area. It didn't feel crowded, just relaxing, peaceful...
