This is my son and I‘s favorite park in the entire world right now. Not only does it have two playgrounds but it has these amazing paved trails with trail markers every quarter mile or so. And there is a bridge with a tunnel that you can go through and lots of bicycle riders, joggers, walkers with children or without and/or with pets. There are beautiful streams and great views of the mountains. This trail goes on to another Larkspur playground, it’s a smaller version. Once we reach that playground we know it’s usually time to turn around because it takes about 15 minutes to get there and 15 minutes to get back to the original parking lot where we are parked and where Larkspur Park begins. The playground is awesome too. But my son, who is three years old, seems to love just coming through with his tricycle and riding on the trails and it’s great because they are paved, like I mentioned and it’s just awesome. It wears him out it’s great exercise for me, it’s usually beautiful weather and beautiful nature to enjoy.
