This is a nice park to go for a walk on that's conveniently located close to my parents house.

We've come here a couple of times. The trails are probably only a couple miles or less total.

We usually take the path through the seven ponds that's across the street from the parking lot. You start on a path through the woods and then it meanders through the ponds to loop back.

We usually take the short trail from the parking lot to the eagle's nest lookout. We saw the eagle's nest on our most recent trip but no eagles.

It's a short and flat walk that would be good for all ages. It was a little muddy last time but not too bad.

Check it out if you're in the area and looking to...

Disappointed with this park. Very limited parking where the eagle observation deck is, had to come back several times to get a spot. Then find that the brush has gotten so high in front of the deck, a lot of the area between the deck and the nest is not viewable. The other entrance where the ponds are has plenty of parking and a nice pavilion but no decent walking trails. If this park was a Stark County park, it would be more usable, they really keep better care of them and make them...

Very easy walk, but very peaceful. Only saw two other people while out there which made it feel like I had the woods to myself. Some really nice viewpoints of different bodies of water along the 2 mile walk. I didn't see any big birds like eagles or herons, but I can imagine this is the kind of the space to see them. I did see two kingfishers dancing together over a pond which made my day. East and relatively accessible walk I'd recommend to anyone looking to...

Really nice park to just get right out of the park and be able to walk down a trail. What I like best is there is no dogs allowed on the trails. Some folks will hate me for saying that, but I get tired of having to dodge doggie dropping. Or the folks who just decide to dump their bag on the trail... They have several benches on the trails to be able to sit and relax over looking several different ponds and n swamps. Must see if enjoy a slow walk down a trail!

Tinkers Creek State Nature Preserve is a hidden gem! The short loop is perfect for a quick and easy nature escape. The trails are well-maintained, clean, and easy to navigate. The highlight of the hike is definitely the eagle's nest! It's pretty awesome to see such a majestic bird in its natural habitat. If you're looking for a peaceful and scenic walk, this is the place to go!
