Avoid dealing with these people at all costs. I consigned a painting in July 2019; Walter was very charming but all he did was list in on a website that I have access to. Then absolutely nothing for a year and a half. Recently I called to tell them that I wanted to collect my painting. Roxanne was very pleasant and said "please give us a couple of days' notice". I called on Thursday morning to ask to collect it the following Tuesday. By then Walter and Roxanne had both left (I wonder why these employees keep leaving? The owner maybe?) I spoke with Cassandra who was very rude and obstructive. She put the phone down on me. Apparently the policy is three business days (Thursday to Tuesday, I'm counting - I get to three days). She told me I could come at 11:30am on Wednesday. I asked to speak to the owner. After some time Cassandra came back to the phone and told me it would now be Wednesday afternoon and rang off. We had to use email to establish a time. They work from a home. No masks. I was invited in to wait. I waited outside. BUYER BEWARE! I purchased an artist rendering #1 of 45 and was sent a non-rendering #400 of 950. I bought this online when I was purchasing the print the “manager” verified the numbering. Now, that I am returning the picture after hours of unnecessary wasted time,I called and asked for procedures for verification prior to shipping. I was told that they use unpaid interns and once a picture is posted the post can not be changed. So she knew she was being untruthful when I was purchasing the photo. I was told that the procedure for a refund would take 10days after the picture was received at there office. Shouldn’t procedure be sending the product that was represented?...

We inherited a unique papier mache chess set that had been made in Mexico in the 1960's. The board, which is also the storage cabinet for the oversized chess pieces, was the worse for wear after sixty years of use. Austin Galleries found the right restorers for the job and bid the project reasonably and accurately. We were frankly a little nervous about how well the restored cabinet would meet our expectations, but we were absolutely thrilled by the quality of the work. Thank you Austin Galleries.
