AVA Rafting and Ziplining — Attraction in Avon

The Browns Canyon Half Day/Zipline package was perfect for our family from start to finish. From friendly greetings at the outpost to fun and skilled guides along with breathtaking scenery, we could not have had a better day. While both activities were new to us, we were in competent hands so that we could thoroughly enjoy the experiences. Jesse and Jess were amazing at teaching us how to zipline and not making the less than graceful participants (me!) feel silly. They were both excellent! We were all a bit nervous about whitewater rafting, but we knew immediately that we were in capable hands with our guide Enrique. He managed to pull a woman into our raft who had been tossed from her own (from a different company) while simultaneously steering us through the first Class III of the trip. We laughed the entire time--he made it so much fun! AVA has incredibly fun and beautiful trips and have hired quality employees for each step of the day. We can't wait to...

Amazing time with AVA!! From the moment we arrived, Anna took amazing care of us and answered all of my questions with a big smile on her face. Love the energy. Steve was our guide and he did an amazing job. Felt very safe and in very good hands. On the way to our rafting adventure, Big Red Justin did an awesome job of tour guide and telling us about all the history of Kremmling and very funny as well!! Steve on the water was very awesome and also told us about the history as we cruised down the river. It was an amazing experience for myself, my wife and 16 and 12 yr old son. I would add pics but haven’t downloaded the awesome album we purchased at AVA. Also lots of great merch!! We got stuff for the whole family!! Would do it again in a heartbeat!! Thank you Steve, Justin and Anna for an amazing experience!! Hope you guys have a great rest of the summer and hope to see you sooner than later!!

Rafted and ziplined at the Buena Vista location on the Arkansas after water levels were deemed too low in Idaho Springs. Couldn't have been better. Our guide Zack was awesome and we were told was the second most senior guide in Colorado with 40 years experience. His instruction was spot on and he kept our inexperienced group in the boat and having a blast the whole time through the class 4 "numbers" section of the river. Will absolutely be back for more rafting. Our zipline guides Jesse and Tammy were also great and were extremely kind, patient and energetic. Their safety instruction was thorough but they kept it light with some humor and good personalities. I can't say that the course was overly exciting, but the guides made up for that with their attitudes and energy. I recommend AVA to locals like myself as well as vacationers looking for a good time. Can't wait to try the class 5 rapid...
