Eagle Mountain Marina — Attraction in Azle

Very disappointed in this marina. I attempted to contact them 4 times throughout the week prior to my rental and never received a call back. Also, when I called, a lady had to transfer me to the actual pontoon rental shop- I never knew the actual number. Website is also very confusing because I thought I rented from Lake Country Marina ( where I’ve previously rented) but the rental bestie pages look all the same for each marinas.

I arrived on time for rental but was told that all passengers must get on the boat prior to leaving the marina. I had to call my friends and ask them to come out and get on the boat- I was not informed of this regulation beforehand. My friends got to the pontoon and we left. Twenty minutes later, I received a call from the marina stating that we needed to bring the boat back due to inclement weather. My question: Why did you even let us leave then? Clearly they weren’t keeping up with the weather. We took a picture of the boat in our slip ( I have a Lakehouse out in Eagle Mountain Lake) and waited for the wind to past. It never ended up raining. I played phone tag back and forth with the marina and then they were fine with us keeping the boat after we took a picture of it in our slip.

They let us have the boat an hour longer-only reason I’m giving it one star. After returning the boat, I proceeded to talk to the manager, Chris, stating my concerns and comments. He was very demeaning, arms folded across, and did not apologize for any of the situations that occurred. Also, when I asked for the manager (gentleman who on their voicemail recording, indicated his name, Mike, and that he was current manager) Chris stated that Mike has been retired for years...Well then why do y’all not have your voicemail and also phone number updated?

Very disappointed overall- will not be renting ever again...

My husband and I went out to Eagle Mountain Lake to take out a boat for the day on June 18th. The employees at Suntex Marina are the BEST. As we walked up we were greeted by Gavin and Gage with a big how are you both doing today and took our bags and cooler from us and carried them to our ATX Surf Boat (which looked like a brand new boat). Both kids went over the boat with us explaining everything thing. They even went thru a safety briefing so we would have a safe day on the lake. Right before we left dock I asked Gavin if he could pair my phone to the boats Bluetooth and he even had me check it before we left the Marina to make sure it was on. On our way back into Marina after a fun day on the lake we were meet at the fuel dock by Zander, Conner and Zane. They greeted us with a did you have a great day and unloaded our items from boat. The boys fueled our boat and sent us in to Leujha who was working the ship store to take care of fuel. She was absolutely pleasant and wished us a great day. As we left Shane the General Manager stopped us to ask if we needed anything and to welcome us back again. It all makes sense that these awesome young men who helped us gave us the GREATEST customer service as Shane was out there helping and enjoying his amazing staff. Great job Shane we will be back!! I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the amazing boat rental experience my group had with your team. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive.

Case, in particular, was absolutely awesome! Without asking he took all our gear from our vehicle and loaded it on the boat. He was very clear with instructions, and the boat itself was exceptionally clean and fully functional.

We had to cut our time short due to a sudden heavy storm, and we were so impressed that Case actually called us to warn us about it and suggested we head back to the marina to wait it out. When we returned, even in the pouring rain, he didn't hesitate to help us unload everything from the boat and get it back to our vehicle.

The entire staff is truly amazing, and the leadership of your management clearly shines through the crew you've assembled. Thank you for making this such a great experience that we are now seriously considering joining...
