Wine and appetizers were fairly priced. There was only one wine I would come back for, the rest were much too "juicy" for my palate. The grounds were quaint and beautiful, reminded me of visiting Grandma's house in the country. The winery is basically an old house with a bar inside and a back yard with a pond and some benches.
Blind Squirrel seemed to be still be extremely strict with mask requirements, even for vaccinated customers. It wasn't possible to order at the bar without a mask despite it being practically open air.
I'd probably would choose one of the other local wineries to bring my friends to for something special, but this hits a niche of being very quiet...
Read moreAs we were on our way home from our "Wine in Bloom" by the Ohio Wine Producers adventure, we made this winery are last stop. So GLAD we did. It is awesome. The owners are very personable, the wines are excellent. They have small cheese plates and appetizers to compliment the wine. The owners told us that they have food trucks too. There is live music (check out the schedule on Facebook). It is located with a large pond, picnic tables, and a deck that overlooks a picturesque setting (beautiful) and if it is chilly, there are tables inside. Definitely a winery to visit. Read moreWe visited for the first time last night and hosted my wife's birthday party here. Bill and his team went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of the entire evening. We were all blown away by the grounds, the wine, and most importantly the customer service. Thank you for all that you did for making this an enjoyable evening for everyone involved. Needless to say you gained a lot of new future customers last night and we can't wait to return!
