The resort was built in the late 1800's by Dunham Wright, it had 50 rooms and dance hall with a maple wood floor on the second floor. The resort was known in it's time for health, rest, and merriment (just like Hot Lake was), and Wright built another building and joined it with the other building he had built earlier; later he added electric 💡, and hot/cold running water. It continued to grow until 1918😯 (sharing Hot Lakes demise) it was burned by a fire.
