Greenwood Community Park — Attraction in Baker

There is always something to do for different age groups. I like to stroll along the lake and go fishing. I take my grandniece to the playground and the sprayground. There is room for more activities.The only problem I have is that I have come across the restrooms being locked early and for very young ones it's quite a walk. Some park users litter too much along the lake. I've met the friendly young men who empty the trash cans but I'd like to see a couple of days each year put aside for volunteers to scoop up the litter in and around the lake. It would make people aware enough to take ownership in caring for our park. Then, I would love it if BREC would listen to citizens in the surrounding area and beyond who want to KEEP THE ZOO WHERE IT...

This park was great! The school that I teach at went here to eat lunch after going to the zoo. The large pavilion by the lake was an awesome spot to feel the breeze while eating. The students were also well entertained by the playground. It had a lot of different types of whirly gigs, swings and other interesting types of exercise bars and nets. This is one of the nice parks in the Baker area... not far from the zoo and it also has a golf course near by... if you looking to have a party of some sort or even a family get together and live in the Area this is definitely a spot to consider looking into... they have plenty of play area for the kids and also rent paddle boats that you can take out on the lake and it's real cheap to rent.. they have the areas that are covered that you...
