I like these Woods even though they tend to be spooky and dark, and there are foot bridges, roots and big rocks all over. One time I got lost in the Bangor Forest on my bike and ended up in this preserve, which is definitely not bike friendly because you have to carry your bike over the bridges rocks and roots , but it is right next door to the Bangor Forest. I was lucky to get out of The Preserve right before dark, because I would have been surprised if I saw the black bear which lived somewhere around in there and wanders around in the Bangor Forest as well.
