Never knew this park existed until today when my daughter and I were searching for somewhere scenic to walk. Nice clear paths which take you into the woods and then along the cranberry bogs. Partial shade and full sun in various locations. Trail is 1.4 miles so we continued around for a longer walk. Trail is marked in red and is fairly easy to follow. There’s is a visitor center and bathrooms which is nice. Quiet and peaceful.

Great hidden little gem in South Jersey! Nice short walk around old cranberry bogs. Pet friendly and has visitor center and rest rooms. Would like to return in spring when more flowers and plants will be blooming. Rated 4 star only because I felt it could use more parking space. Overall, a great place for some fresh air!

Hidden little gem of a park! Well maintained and the staff that maintain it are very friendly! It’s gorgeous during every season. A great local place to scratch the hiking itch, get the kids out into nature, or take the dog for a walk. There’s quite a good selection of trails with nice points of interest.

Old cranberry bog, Amazing scenery beautiful woodsy private. There is multiple trails and it is very large so you rarely run into a lot of people and can be great if your looking for privacy. Great for dogs they absolutely love it. PARKING is great there’s 2 parking lots that lead right into trails with multiple entrances. Road in can be bad with potholes sometimes.

Now for the bad.........there is snakes and ticks during certain seasons which is no fun but expected as it true woods. But the BEES BEES BEES, are OUT OF CONTROL. They place lots of bees there to pollinate for the cranberries. But because most of the trails are close to their hives they just fly and swarm around the entire time flying into you head and face. It’s unwalkable when there is bees.

If not for the bees this trail...

Very close to our house, we 'share' the Great Horned Owls with Cloverdale Park. This place is so comfy to be able to do your long & short walks. My Wife and I really dig the whole setup that this quaint, & totally peaceful local nabe'hood setting offers up to the locals.

Cloverdale Park offers up "Owl Prowls", a guided tour that features reps that are quite knowledgeable concerning the area, the Owl types that call this mini forest they home, what to listen to and for, plus all the time giving the groups full informative presentations.

Cloverdale Park also offers many Workshops that offer craft building, &much more additional outdoorsy type of environment entertainment, Ex: Star Gazing, Bird Watching, etc. Great idea to "GOOGLE" Cloverdale Park,...

I saw Cloverdale Farms on the Ocean County Parks and Rec website and thought I'd check it out. The farm section is beautiful as well as the active and inactive bogs. The nature center was closed which was disappointing (they're only open Friday-Sunday). The trails here are easy to walk and great for beginners. The reason I gave only four stars is because there are trails which are no longer part of the park, however, they are connected. The parks trails lead into trails where I had to get out of the way for about 15 people on ATVs. I walked about a quarter mile before I realized I was off park property. Other than that, I enjoyed the history and how well the park...
