If you manage to get a day that's not too hot, too cold, or too windy, New Jack City is paradise for sport climbers. The rock is delightfully featured, and there are routes for all levels. Come mid-week, and you'll almost have the place to yourself. Weekends are a madhouse, but still plenty of routes for all. There is a campground here with around 15-20 spots, and there is BLM land that you can camp at on the other side of the highway before you turn in. The view is enclosed within the crag and so you typically will just see rock all around you. Highly recommend a drive out if you are in the travelling in the vicinity and absolutely if you...
