My great grandma used to take me here so it is somewhat nostalgic to me. I have been going here for years. It is beautiful! There are so many different ecosystems in one place. You have forests, prairies and swamp like marshes. There are many beautiful wild flowers and plants. You will also see many different insects and tons of animals. Two years ago I saw a snapping turtle in one of the ponds with a 2 foot shell. It was huge! Be aware, parking lot not necessarily safe, (as my case was here) even if there were few other parked cars.
