Batesville Mounds — Attraction in Batesville

It’s nice & maintained well. Drive an 18 wheeler so I walk over to it and get some exercise while I’m waiting to get my trailer. Does close at dark, have seen people with dogs here but not sure of their official policy. The mounds aren’t huge so don’t get your hopes up. Good place to visit with paved & unlaced trails. Had a wonderful visit. Light traffic/factory noise, but nothing unbearable. It's a great park for walking, jogging, its 92% paved, so wheelchair accessible, also makes it good walking area for elder. The nature trail muddy in a few spots, but not bad. Has a few sitting benches as well. It's definitely one of the smaller parks/historical places I've been to; there was almost no human garbage which definitely made it...

Obviously well maintained public park with paved trails. Unpaved trails in the woods had recently been maintained and there was new infrastructure and exercise equipment, so it seems like a place that Batesville is investing in.
