I've been to the bath Covered Bridge a few times and it never disappoints. It's a nice long bridge more so than most covered bridges. Unlike some covered bridges, Bath is fully functional. So you can drive through from end to end. It is fairly wide but be careful if walking through since you do share the single lane with cars. The span itself is in quite good condition. I enjoy spending time here. I normally get something to snack on or a coffee at the brick store right at the bridge. Although it seems the brick store has closed. Read moreBath covered bridge is super cool. Well maintained one lane bridge over the river. After you cross there is a nice yet small dirt lot on your right where you can park and take pix of the bridge or walk the trail that goes under it. Also close by in the town is “The Brick Store” which says it’s Americas oldest general store. Unfortunately, they were not open when we were there but it looks like a cool place. I would have given 5 stars but we encountered some locals here who were speeding through the bridge and not wanting to take turns coming through the bridge (it is a one lane bridge) Also, the forefathers joke is a reference from the Chevy Chase...
