Independence Toll Bridge — Attraction in Bay City

This nev3r went on the ballot to vote for. Salzburg road (no name bridge) close for four years. It's 2 highways. Probably still be just 2 lanes each way. It should be 4 lanes all together and 2 separate ones like Independence Liberty should of been torn down Vets should be 3 each way 3 lanes bridge ,2 lanes , 3 lanes Go east one lane to turn on Madison when there should be 2 left turn lanes, and 2 right turn lanes to turn right. How about one bridge with no draw bridge. They did that in Saginaw and no toll bridge. With that , should of never been built. The business just south should of have been moved to the north. That would of made sense. Any repairs that one business should be billed for....

Quick rant: this bridge was supposed to be re-opened a month ago, first delay: alright they must be taking precautions to make sure its safe. Second delay: alright this is kind of ridiculous, are you even doing anything? Third delay: ok come on! This bridge is over due to open by a whole month, and do we see any progress? Absolutely not. This is kind of a representation of how Bay City works, delay road work that needs to be done until it absolutely cannot be delayed any longer, and then half ass it for months on end. Welcome to Bay City, and don't destroy your suspension on our roads that are falling apart because our streets...

They charge you a toll for this bridge. Just received a ticket in the mail about some toll I didn't pay in the Bay City area. I was so confused. No signs were posted anywhere about this toll. Otherwise, I would have turned around. Last time I'll be in this area. The only bridge toll I pay in Michigan is going over into the U.P. and it's clearly posted. What a rip-off.
