Exceeded my expectations by miles! I visited the park just to browse through because I have complimentary access with my Disney AP pass.

I did not like Aquatica when they claim to be the #1 water park in the US. So I assumed I’d dislike Blizzard Beach as well. Nope, it wasn’t the case and this place is very tropical of Disney properties: clean, safe, fun, superior design.

I was immensely impressed with the entire property upon my entrance. The ski lifts going up and down the artificial mountain top was quite a view. Once you are at the top, you will be encountered with 4-5 options of riding down to the ground level. The extreme one looked out of this worldly scary and I saw one girl kept on crying after ‘dropping’ nearly vertically through the slide.

The wave pool and the lazy river were super fun. All were operated cleanly and safely. There’s not a single thing I disliked about this place.

And of course, hospitable Disney cast members are standard here. It was a bit cold after some swimmings, and one cast members offered me some towels. They go for $2/piece, fyi.

I am already making plans to come back. As soon as tomorrow. I rediscovered my love for water park for the first time in 30 years.
