Hopfinger Zimmerman Memorial Park & Dog Park — Attraction in Bay Township

I recently visited Hopfinger Zimmerman Memorial Park with my family, and it was an absolute delight! This park is a fantastic destination for visitors of all ages, making it an ideal spot for a family outing. I love this place .. it's beautiful, and so far very clean.. I was really disappointed to see that people have no respect!! The first time we went there were 6 or 8 paddle boats, (the park providers free for people to use) this last time we went there, we found 4 paddle boats, 1 was 1/2 sunk in the water, 2 that were funtional, and 1 with the handle ripped off making the boat unable to steer... If you go here, please respect the fact that everything is provided free of charge for us to use and enjoy with our families ... If you have heathens or are just disrespectful, please do not go there and ruin this privilege for the rest of us!!! Those of us enjoy going there, don't mind making our kids mind and be respectful of others propperty appreciate the fact they have spent many thousands of dollars to provide a FREE space to go to take our kids swimming...

Really nice place! I don't know if anyone is in charge of cleaning up the dog park area at the end of the day or early morning but dog owners need to pick up after their pets 😡 There are clean up bags provided and a trash can! Love the water dispenser ❤️ I saw a bowl dish there but we brought our own. There might be a hornets nest on one of the green playground things. Since it was our first time there, we walked around the place for a few minutes. Pickleball courts are available, basketball court and volleyball is available!
